I have been a massage client of Trish Kelso(-Wright) since September, 2003 when she substituted for someone who’d been scheduled to give me a massage.

I committed to Trish after several months of trying out different massage practitioners. Most of them told me to drink water/ tea and expect a difference the next day. I left some massages feeling pained, others feeling nothing (they were all relaxing). And the next days might have been better due to some of those massages – I couldn’t tell if anything was related.

At the time Trish arrived I had general and consistent lower back pain. The first massage she gave me not only relieved the pain and tension, it did so by the time I got up from the table! I asked her for her card.

At that time I decided to see her for ‘awhile’ whenever I had pain. then one evening she worked on my toes. My toes had been tightly curled and painful since I was a child (I’m 62 now). I walked out of the session with flat toes I had never seen. And it lasted a few weeks before they started to recurl. Each time I returned and requested foot work, the time between massages lengthened. Today she does my feet only lightly and infrequently as the toe relaxation seems to have become permanent. Lately I’ve asked her to concentrate on my neck. The result is I can turn my head when entering traffic, quickly and without pain. It’s been years since I could rotate my head to the side without pain.

Well ‘awhile’ has now slipped into almost three years every other Thursday – At my house, in the evenings! That happened because I wanted my wife (who has chronic back pain) to see Trish regularly (once she also became impressed by the results). And I didn’t want my wife to have to travel before and after the sessions. Trish was flexible enough to offer home service provided it was economically workable for all. We settled for both my wife and I getting massages one after the other on the same night in our own living room and Trish being paid for time and travel.

I intend to keep seeing Trish regularly as long as I can afford to. I hope that is for the rest of my life, which she has made less painful and more enjoyable.

Respectfully,
David L
